Pulmonologist and Sleep Medicine Physician (Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine, MD/DO) - Summary
- Full-time position for a Pulmonologist and Sleep Medicine Physician in a multi-specialty outpatient setting.
- Take over an established, thriving pulmonary and sleep practice with an on-site sleep center/lab.
- Work with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals dedicated to coordinated patient care.
- Opportunity to provide a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for pulmonary and sleep disorders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient clinical care for patients with respiratory and sleep disorders.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopies, and thoracentesis.
- Interpret and manage results from home and in-laboratory sleep studies.
- Order durable medical equipment (DME) and oversee follow-up sleep care.
- Collaborate with the hospital and healthcare team for comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and families on pulmonary and sleep health, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Participate in multi-specialty case discussions and contribute to ongoing process improvements within the practice.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in outpatient pulmonology and sleep medicine services.
