Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Pulmonary Critical Care NP Summary
- Deliver comprehensive pulmonary and critical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct inpatient rounding at long-term acute care facilities, managing patients with varying respiratory needs, including those on ventilators
- Provide outpatient care in a pulmonary clinic, handling chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, and interstitial lung disease
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests relevant to pulmonary and critical care
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about disease management and preventive care
- Participate in a rotating call schedule as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) licensure
- Certification in family, adult, or acute care nursing (as required by state regulations)
- Graduate of an accredited NP program
- Experience or demonstrated interest in pulmonary and/or critical care medicine preferred
