The Pulmonary Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP, APRN) is a vital member of the advanced practice provider team, playing a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in critical and intensive care units. This position is designed for an experienced nurse practitioner with a focus on pulmonary and critical care medicine, providing direct patient management for those with complex respiratory and critical illnesses. The assignment is a minimum of 13 weeks, with the potential for extension, and is based near Philadelphia, PA. The Pulmonary Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP, APRN) will collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to manage critically ill patients. This role requires expertise in procedures such as central and arterial line placements, patient assessments, ongoing monitoring, and the implementation of evidence-based interventions. Candidates must be licensed in Pennsylvania and possess proven experience in medical ICU, pulmonary ICU, or similar acute care settings. The schedule is created in advance, with the preferred arrangement being three 12-hour shifts per week, including days, nights, and weekends, to ensure consistent, high-level patient care across all shifts.
