Pulmonary Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP, APRN) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of critically ill patients in ICU and pulmonary ICU settings
- Independently place and manage central and arterial lines
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Provide advanced airway and ventilator management
- Educate patients and families on care plans, prognosis, and procedures
- Document all care activities and clinical findings in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner (NP, APRN) license in Pennsylvania
