Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient psychiatry coverage, ensuring high standards of patient care
- Deliver outpatient behavioral health services, supporting continuity of care
- Offer psychiatric consultations to medical and surgical units as needed
- Conduct emergency department psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with outpatient behavioral health centers to coordinate patient treatment
- Participate actively in interdisciplinary treatment planning and case conferences
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a culture of collaboration and respect

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
- Active New York state medical license or eligibility to obtain one prior to start
- Experience in inpatient and/or consult liaison psychiatry preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
