Palm Health is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist (MD/DO, Adult Psychiatry) to join our 61-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital. This full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals who are Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Adult Psychiatry and are passionate about making a positive impact on patient lives through both acute and rehabilitative care. Our facility has recently expanded to include a state-of-the-art hybrid long-term forensic unit focused on the treatment and rehabilitation of non-violent offenders, offering clinicians the chance to work within a dynamic and innovative behavioral health program.
As a Psychiatrist (MD/DO, Adult Psychiatry) at Palm Health, you will be part of a collaborative team committed to delivering high-quality psychiatric care. This role involves managing a diverse caseload of adult inpatients, participating in interdisciplinary treatment planning, and providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and interventions. Psychiatrist (MD/DO, Adult Psychiatry) - Summary- Full-time inpatient and optional outpatient psychiatric care role in an established behavioral health hospital

- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult inpatients
- Provide psychiatric care for patients in acute and rehabilitative phases, including those in the forensic unit
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other clinical staff
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment as needed
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and legal requirements
- Option to develop and manage an outpatient psychiatric clinic
