Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for patients of all ages
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications and other therapeutic interventions
- Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
- Support patients in managing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders including detoxification

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification with a psychiatric/mental health specialty (PMHNP preferred)
- Active Maine Nurse Practitioner license preferred; candidates eligible for licensure will also be considered
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner or in a similar mental health role
- Demonstrated experience in treating a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults
- Knowledge and experience in managing detoxification, anxiety, and depression is preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills
