Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Summary- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment and ongoing care to patients in inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
- Help meet the mental health needs of a diverse patient population.

- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for patients across the lifespan.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide medication management, crisis intervention, and therapeutic services as part of the behavioral health continuum.
- Participate in regular case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain detailed, accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

- For inpatient roles: Participate in hospital rounding, partner with hospitalists, and provide care during scheduled blocks, including some weekends.
- For outpatient roles: Maintain a flexible Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend requirements and minimal on-call duties.
