Project Manager – Risk & Governance (PMO) Summary
- Serve as a central figure in supporting PMO risk governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment on project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- Act as a communication bridge between stakeholders, leadership, and governance committees.
- Track project progress, escalate risks, and facilitate timely decision-making.
- Prepare executive-level reports and governance documents for leadership consumption.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the execution of risk governance, regulatory, and PMO initiatives across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of detailed project plans, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical action items.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify obstacles, and escalate issues or blockers to enable timely resolutions and decisions.
- Prepare and distribute regular status reports, governance materials, and management updates tailored for leadership and executive teams.
- Assist with governance committee activities, such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting action items, and tracking follow-ups.
- Facilitate executive and governance forums, ensuring effective meeting management and clear documentation of outcomes.
- Participate in risk management activities, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Own Risk and Solvency Assessments (ORSA), and supporting internal audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in PMO, project coordination, or delivery management, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills, including the ability to produce executive-ready status updates, dashboards, and governance materials.
- Professional experience in risk, compliance, internal audit, governance, or the financial services sector is preferred but not required.
- Ability to facilitate executive and governance forums, manage meetings, track actions, and document governance processes with precision.
- Hands-on experience with risk management activities such as RCSA, ORSA, internal audits, or similar frameworks.
