Project Manager (PM) Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager (PM) to oversee and execute a wide range of shop and field-related projects. Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, deadlines, and budget requirements in Manheim, PA.
- Develop and nurture professional relationships with clients, general contractors, and suppliers to promote effective communication and project success.
- Coordinate and schedule labor, subcontracts, materials, and equipment for projects of varying complexity and size.
- Monitor and manage job costs to ensure projects remain profitable and within financial targets.
- Lead the bidding process, including handling multiple Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and managing concurrent projects.
- Demonstrate expertise in steel fabrication, industrial piping fabrication, and system installation, ensuring all technical aspects of projects are effectively managed.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication among customers, management, supervisors, and field staff, ensuring everyone is aligned on project goals and progress.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including proposals, change orders, and various project-related documents.
- Attend project meetings and serve as the company’s representative at job sites, ensuring client expectations are met and company standards are upheld.
- Organize and manage all project documents, such as quotes, submittals, permits, and related paperwork.
- Utilize project management software tools, including Vista and B2W, to track project progress and manage documentation efficiently.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, preparing estimates, and adhering to strict project deadlines.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, reasoning, and computer skills essential for effective project oversight.
- Valid driver’s license required for travel to various job sites in and around Manheim, PA.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed and navigate active job sites safely.
- Specific vision abilities, including close and peripheral vision, are necessary for safe and effective job performance.
- Exposure to moving equipment and outdoor weather conditions is typical for this full-time Project Manager (PM) role in Manheim, PA.
