The Project Manager – Construction (PM) is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing complex building infrastructure projects from initiation through completion. As a Project Manager – Construction (PM), you will be expected to manage and coordinate all aspects of large-scale construction and building system projects, ensuring that each project is executed in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The Project Manager – Construction (PM) acts as the primary customer advocate and decision-maker, providing direction to cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and internal resources, while maintaining focus on safety, quality, schedule, and budget.

Project Manager – Construction (PM) Summary
- Lead and manage building infrastructure projects with a focus on safety, quality, and timely completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and internal resources to achieve project goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive team performance by mentoring and training project staff and reinforcing organizational delivery standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of project delivery, including contract kickoff, execution, commissioning, and closeout.
- Develop, implement, and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are on track.
- Manage project budgets, labor plans, cost controls, billing, forecasting, and financial reporting with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, and safety regulations at all times.
- Negotiate, process, and validate change orders to protect schedule and financial performance.
- Oversee the management of construction contracts, scopes of work, insurance requirements, and subcontractor relationships.
- Utilize project management tools and software (such as Procore, MS Project, PowerBI, and Microsoft Office) for documentation and reporting.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively addressing potential issues.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to established project delivery workflows and tools.
- Mentor and train Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers in best practices and company standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Advanced degree considered a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in building infrastructure, construction, or energy-focused projects.
- OSHA 10-hour certification required; OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
- Professional certifications (such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in applicable codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, terms and conditions, scope management, and insurance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, labor plans, cost controls, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
