Project Manager – Civil Engineering (PE) Summary
The Project Manager – Civil Engineering (PE) is responsible for managing all aspects of land development and aviation projects, from inception to completion. This role demands a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and proven experience in guiding multidisciplinary teams. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong leadership skills, and the ability to deliver results on time and within budget. Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop project scope, schedules, and budgets; coordinate with internal and external consultants to ensure project objectives are met.
- Lead and facilitate regular design team meetings, providing clarity on project status and resolving any issues that arise.
- Oversee accurate and timely billing processes, maintaining a strong focus on accounts receivable management.
- Implement and manage quality control (QC) reviews and coordinate quality assurance (QA) processes in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
- Contribute to the development of project plans, cost estimates, and detailed specifications to guide project execution.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff, promoting professional growth and knowledge transfer within the team.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners.
- Delegate tasks appropriately, monitor progress, and ensure that deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Travel as needed to project sites and client meetings to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; reciprocity within three months is acceptable.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in civil engineering, with a focus on residential, commercial, mixed-use, or industrial site development projects.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D is considered a plus.
- Strong business development and marketing skills, including experience preparing proposals, scopes of work, and project budgets.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and supervisory abilities.
- Analytical skills to prepare, interpret, and present statistical reports.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
