IDR is seeking a Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role is within the renewable energy sector, focusing on managing projects related to renewable solutions and energy programs. The position offers a chance to lead diverse technical projects within a dynamic environment.
Position Overview for the Project Manager:
- Responsible for project management of various projects within the Customer Renewable Solutions work group.
- Manage planning, coordination, requirements gathering, business analysis, and specifications development for moderate to complex business solutions.
- Oversee project planning, monitoring, status reporting, and system implementation for existing and developing renewable energy programs.
- Lead cross-functional teams ensuring successful project delivery aligned with organizational goals.
- Apply project management best practices, including change management and resource coordination, to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Requirements for the Project Manager:
- 7+ years implementing technical projects and leading diverse project teams
- 5+ years in project procurement, RFP development, and bid evaluation
- 5+ years working within Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and Teams
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI
- 5+ years applying project management techniques, WBS development, and coordination of people and resources
