Project Engineer, PE - Summary
- Key contributor to land development and aviation-related projects within a leading civil engineering firm.
- Works closely with project managers and technical teams to execute complex engineering designs and calculations.
- Applies advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D in project delivery.
- Supports the development and mentoring of junior engineering staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform standard and complex design tasks utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) equipment and software.
- Handle routine and non-routine design challenges, requiring extensive expertise in CAD applications and project organization.
- Support project managers in mathematical analysis, calculations, and overall project coordination.
- Prepare and analyze statistical reports to support project decisions.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Travel as necessary to project sites and meetings, ensuring project needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced engineering staff, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited university.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- At least eight (8) years of civil engineering experience, with emphasis on land development projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with proven ability to handle complex design tasks.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to prepare and interpret statistical reports.
- Demonstrated experience with residential and commercial land development projects.
- Experience with municipal and/or industrial land development projects considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to mentoring junior staff.
- Ability to travel as required by project demands.
