Key Responsibilities- Interpret and analyze construction design documents to ensure project requirements are met on all levels.
- Prepare and review cost estimates and quantity take-offs for diverse scopes of work, providing the foundation for budgeting and planning.
- Coordinate and communicate with project architects, designers, owners, and field personnel to ensure project alignment and timely completion.
- Generate and track Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals to facilitate clear and accurate communication between project teams.
- Oversee management of subcontractors, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned with project goals and specifications.
- Serve as the central information hub, maintaining continuity of work and ensuring that all project documentation is current and accessible.
- Provide technical support to project supervisors, ensuring all work follows applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
- Assist in the coordination of change orders, expedite materials and equipment needed on job sites, prepare estimates, and compile data to support project analysis and reporting.
- Monitor and report on project quality control metrics, providing timely updates to project managers or superintendents and addressing any quality concerns promptly.
- Conduct inspections to verify compliance with project plans and specifications, maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general computer proficiency.
- Working familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is advantageous.
- Understanding of LEAN construction principles and BIM techniques; direct experience with BIM is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
