Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all phases of engineering and construction projects, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Organize project staff and assign personnel to specific aspects of the project, including technical studies, design, specification preparation, and testing.
- Review and approve product designs, technical submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with superintendents to resolve construction field issues and maintain project progress.
- Solicit, evaluate, and qualify subcontractor proposals against contract documents to ensure project alignment.
- Prepare, review, and distribute Requests for Information (RFIs), maintaining accurate and up-to-date logs.
- Work with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and change orders.
- Manage project closeout, ensuring all documentation and warranties are obtained for final acceptance.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents, specifications, and performance standards.
- Prepare project status reports, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Enforce safety procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Maintain and update project databases and support project data management initiatives.
- Contribute to the team’s overall success by accomplishing project goals and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project, is essential.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM), Revit, and LEED Accreditation is advantageous.
- 1-4 years of experience in commercial construction or related project engineering roles is required.
