Project Engineer - Summary
- The Project Engineer oversees all phases of engineering and technical projects, from initial concept through final implementation.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders from engineering, operations, quality, and leadership teams to develop detailed project plans and define resource requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate materials, equipment, and technologies to meet project objectives.
- Track and manage project expenditures, comparing actual costs to budgets and identifying areas for cost optimization.
- Work with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Analyze equipment, systems, and processes to find opportunities for operational improvements, cost savings, and increased productivity.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports, including updates on progress, budgets, timelines, and performance metrics.
- Ensure all projects comply with company policies, safety requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify and remove obstacles that could hinder project success, working closely with operations teams.
- Develop and implement process controls to support manufacturing capabilities, facility improvements, and training initiatives.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing and best-practice initiatives across multiple facilities and engineering teams.
- Support capital improvement projects, process optimization, and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering, manufacturing, industrial operations, or process improvement.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and project management methodologies.
- Ability to interpret and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Excellent skills in budgeting, cost analysis, and resource planning.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
