Project Engineer - Summary
As a Project Engineer, you will support the operations team in all aspects of project management and delivery. You will serve as a key contact for documentation, coordination, and communication between all project participants. The focus of this role is to streamline project execution through proactive problem-solving and meticulous record-keeping, contributing directly to the successful completion of multifamily construction projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Support:
- Assist Project Managers and field leadership with schedule and budget alignment
- Develop a thorough understanding of contract documents and subcontractor scopes
- Provide administrative and coordination support for both field and office teams
- Document Control & File Management:
- Maintain and update Contract Drawing Logs using construction management software such as Procore
- Organize and manage on-site project files for accuracy and compliance
- File and maintain all correspondence related to project execution
- Support project closeout processes by archiving plans, files, and essential documentation
- Submittals & RFI Management:
- Assist in obtaining, logging, tracking, and distributing project submittals
- Support the management of Requests for Information (RFIs) and potential change order documentation
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for tracking and follow-up
- Project Documentation & Reporting:
- Coordinate and maintain records for pre-construction meetings, meeting minutes, permits, and inspection documentation
- Track concrete pour schedules, placement activities, and field coordination documentation
- Provide scheduling support and update project team as needed
- Compile closeout documentation, including warranties, guarantees, and O&M manuals
- Assemble and distribute as-built drawings to the project owner upon completion
- Additional Responsibilities:

Qualifications & Requirements
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with Procore construction management software preferred
- Familiarity with Timberline, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and P6 scheduling software is desired
- Comparable experience with Prolog or Expedition may be considered
