Program Manager (PM) – Full-Time
As a Program Manager (PM), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating complex programs and contracts to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements, management objectives, and technical expectations. This essential position demands expertise in program administration, technical oversight, and strong leadership within a matrix organization. The Program Manager (PM) will serve as the primary point of contact between customers, engineering, manufacturing, and sales/marketing, ensuring seamless communication and efficient contract execution.
The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of assigned programs, from the initial coordination and contract review to ongoing administration, problem solving, and client communication. This role requires the ability to deliver both positive and challenging updates to customers, always maintaining professionalism and a focus on excellent customer service. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to evaluate technical feasibility, assess business opportunities, and oversee the implementation of solutions to technical or production-related issues.

Program Manager (PM) – Summary- Oversee and coordinate multiple programs/contracts to ensure compliance with contractual and management requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers, management, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
- Manage contract terms, correspondence, and customer communications.
- Promote strong customer relations and support throughout the program lifecycle.
- Manage all correspondence and contractual terms for assigned programs, ensuring proper review, approval, and coordination with internal teams.
- Communicate both positive and challenging information to customers regarding product delivery and program status.
- Review financial and legal contract clauses for company impact and compliance.
- Represent the organization in contract administration, including new agreements, amendments, and follow-ups.
- Maintain excellent customer service and communication at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction and prompt issue resolution.
- Evaluate technical feasibility, assess potential risks, and recommend sound business approaches based on program objectives and design reviews.
- Act as a liaison between management and engineering, providing feedback and communicating goals and directives.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize productivity and implement cost-effective production methods.
- Direct the creation and implementation of solutions for technical and manufacturing problems encountered during testing or fabrication.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Three to seven years of directly related aerospace experience.
- Proficiency in ISO 9000 standards and just-in-time (JIT) practices.
- Strong knowledge of project management techniques and manufacturing/repair/overhaul processes (airline seats experience a plus).
- Experience with estimating methods and contract review.
- Ability to manage crises, work under uncertainty, and develop innovative principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and component maintenance manuals (CMMs).
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrates exceptional leadership and influence within a matrix organization.
- Possesses a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with light physical activity, such as walking and handling materials, and able to meet visual and mental demands of the role.
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced shop environment and enjoys problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Work is primarily performed indoors in a shop environment with exposure to typical industrial noise levels.
- Role requires use of computers and database management software for contract administration and program tracking.
