Professional Services Manager - Summary
In this vital role, the Professional Services Manager leads the charge in managing professional services opportunities throughout their entire lifecycle. By serving as the primary point of contact for designated regions or accounts, the manager aligns closely with Sales and Professional Services leadership to ensure clarity, efficiency, and consistency in every engagement. The position emphasizes early and active involvement in opportunities, focusing on defining scope, structuring projects, and preparing for Statement of Work (SOW) creation. The Professional Services Manager is also responsible for tracking opportunities, identifying risks or delays, and fostering proactive communication to drive successful outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for professional services engagements within assigned regions or accounts, collaborating closely with Sales and Professional Services leadership for effective alignment.
- Engage early in the opportunity lifecycle to clarify the scope, structure projects, and determine readiness for SOW creation, ensuring comprehensive documentation and client understanding.
- Track and monitor all opportunities and SOWs, proactively identifying risks, delays, or ownership gaps and working cross-functionally to resolve them promptly.
- Reinforce adherence to organizational standards, recommended architectures, and productized service offerings, promoting the use of accelerators and modular services to maximize efficiency and value.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, supporting analytics initiatives that enhance engagement visibility and drive continuous process improvements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address bottlenecks, ensuring smooth execution and successful delivery of strategic opportunities, including complex or high-value deals.
