The Engagement Manager plays a strategic role within professional services and Revenue Operations (RevOps), serving as a vital connector between sales, delivery, and operations teams. This position is crucial for maintaining smooth workflows, accelerating deal cycles, and ensuring high-quality client service delivery. As an Engagement Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for professional services engagements, working proactively within cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Working in San Francisco, CA, the Engagement Manager will collaborate closely with sales and professional services leadership to manage the end-to-end engagement process. This includes early engagement in opportunities, scope clarification, and Statement of Work (SOW) preparation, as well as tracking and managing the opportunity lifecycle. The Engagement Manager will be responsible for identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks, ensuring engagement standards and best practices are consistently applied, and supporting analytics to improve visibility and decision-making.

Engagement Manager - Summary
- Acts as the central liaison for professional services engagements, bridging sales, delivery, and operations functions.
- Manages the lifecycle of opportunities and SOWs to accelerate deal closure and ensure successful project initiation.
- Drives adherence to engagement standards, modular services, and productized offerings to promote efficiency and scalability.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for professional services engagements within assigned accounts or regions, collaborating with sales and leadership teams.
- Engage early in the opportunity lifecycle to clarify project scope, structure, and readiness for SOW creation.
- Track opportunities and SOWs, proactively identifying and resolving risks, delays, or ownership gaps that could hinder progress.
- Enforce adherence to engagement standards, technical architectures, and productized service offerings, utilizing accelerators and modular services as appropriate.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, supporting analytics efforts to improve engagement visibility and inform process enhancements.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration, ensuring smooth handoffs and clear communication between sales, delivery, and RevOps teams.
- Support complex or high-value strategic opportunities, coordinating resources and efforts to achieve successful outcomes.

- In-depth understanding of professional services engagement processes, SOW development, and opportunity lifecycle management.
