The role of Production Worker, also commonly referred to as Plant Production Worker in the commercial laundry industry, is an essential part of the manufacturing and production team. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks that are crucial to the daily operations of a high-capacity commercial laundry facility. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the seamless functioning of production processes, ensuring that all customer requirements are met with the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Production Worker - Summary- Integral member of the front-line production team in a commercial laundry plant.
- Performs essential tasks supporting the daily production workflow.
- Handles various duties such as soil sorting, dryer operations, washing, stain removal, folding, ironing, packing, and distribution.
- Works closely with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
- Sort soiled linen into designated buggies to prepare for washing cycles.
- Operate commercial dryers, washers, and other equipment as required.
- Perform stain removal and ensure that laundry items meet company cleanliness standards.
- Fold, iron, and pack cleaned laundry items for distribution to customers.
- Distribute packed laundry items according to established logistics procedures.
- Follow all directions and safety precautions to ensure a secure working environment.
- Maintain production standards as determined by management per hour and report any technical issues to supervisors promptly.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support overall plant operations.
