Key Responsibilities
- Follow standard work processes and perform specific assigned tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Carry out repetitive assembly tasks, such as attaching or affixing pre-manufactured components and parts to the main product on the production line.
- Prepare parts for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in shipping, receiving, and material handling duties as needed.
- Notify the Team Leader of any defective parts, equipment malfunctions, tool issues, nonstandard assembly work, or other conditions that may hinder the assembly process.
- Engage in group meetings to exchange job-related information and ensure consistent quality standards are maintained.
- Minimize time, materials, and waste in all assigned tasks.
- Perform other assigned duties to ensure company expectations and customer needs are consistently met or exceeded.
Required Skills and Specifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of production work.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to operate various assembly tools.
- Possess sufficient physical reflexes and mobility to perform duties effectively.
- Work effectively as a team member and communicate clearly with supervisors and fellow team members.
- Adapt to changes and participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality and productivity.
- Follow verbal and written instructions in English; must be able to read, write, and speak English during working hours.
- Be available to work mandatory overtime, including weekdays and weekends, as required by the production schedule.
- Maintain punctuality and adhere to strict attendance policies.
Essential Physical Functions
- Constant standing, walking, repetitive motion, and lifting (up to 10 lbs).
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, overhead work (from waist to above shoulders), reaching, and lifting (10–25 lbs).
- Occasional climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, and crawling.
