The Production Supervisor position is a full-time opportunity located in Alpharetta, GA. This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in the printing industry, especially those skilled in operating bindery and collator machinery. The Production Supervisor is expected to oversee a team of 13 employees, monitoring workflow, enforcing company policies, and ensuring the timely completion of all production duties. This position requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently. Production Supervisor - Summary- Oversee the daily operations of a production team within a manufacturing or printing environment.
- Report directly to the Production Manager and occasionally to the General Manager.
- Ensure optimal productivity, quality, and workflow to meet organizational goals.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for all team members.
- Review associates' daily production output, monitor waste, and evaluate product quality, taking corrective action as needed.
- Enforce all company policies, procedures, and guidelines fairly and consistently across the team.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment that fosters employee development and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular employee performance reviews, providing feedback and support for professional growth.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate timely repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
- Monitor workflow to meet delivery deadlines and proactively address potential production issues.
- Address employee concerns in a timely and professional manner to maintain morale and productivity.
- Coordinate vacations and absences to ensure production requirements are consistently met.
- Accurately prepare and verify employee time cards, and manage attendance records in accordance with company guidelines.
- Document all shipped orders and provide accurate production data as required.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of routine job functions.
- Physical stamina to stand for 8 to 12 hours during shifts.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and ratios.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proven ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
