Production Supervisor - Summary- Oversees all aspects of the night shift production process, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Leads a team of approximately 24 employees in a paper converting, corrugating, or printing environment.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for operational and emergency situations during night hours.
- Participates in initial training during day shifts to ensure readiness for night shift leadership.
- Supervise converting line operations during the night shift, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with state, federal, and company regulations related to workplace safety, scheduling, and operations.
- Oversee timekeeping practices to prevent timecard fraud and abuse, ensuring accurate reporting and payroll integrity.
- Ensure team members receive proper breaks and meal periods as required by law and company policy.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, serving as the first point of contact for incident resolution.
- Collaborate with the Director of Manufacturing to manage raw material usage and optimize production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, assist with equipment maintenance, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Foster a safe, clean, and productive work environment through leadership and example.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to team members to promote skill development and high performance.
