Production Operators are vital members of the manufacturing team. The role involves standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materials, sometimes individually and at other times as part of a team. Production Operator - Summary- Responsible for handling, inspecting, labeling, and moving glass materials throughout the warehouse and production floor
- Operates equipment and follows established safety and quality standards
- Works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring physical stamina and teamwork
- Contributes to quality control and operational efficiency
- Move glass materials from tables, furnaces, rolling racks, delivery trucks, and wood crates throughout the production shift
- Transport materials between various locations within the warehouse
- Apply accurate labeling to all products as per company standards
- Perform detailed quality inspections on items and materials
- Operate production equipment and manually maneuver materials as needed
- Adhere to company safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets

- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred (glass industry experience is a plus, but not required)
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate using paperwork and labels
- Proficiency in basic mathematical measurements and effective use of a tape measure
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted and up to 150 lbs with a team member
- Capable of standing for long periods and working in non-climate-controlled environments
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
