We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The Production Operator plays a crucial front-line role within our commercial laundry facility, contributing to the seamless processing of linens that support healthcare and hospitality operations. As a Production Operator at Core Linen Services, you will be responsible for supporting a range of activities essential to the efficient operation of our plant. You may be assigned to roles such as Dryer Operator, Wash Operator, Stain Washer, Sewing/Mending, Soil Sorting, as well as folding, commercial ironing, packing, and distributing clean linens. Your contributions will ensure that our facilities continue to meet the high standards expected by our clients and help deliver critical services daily.
Production Operator - Summary- Act as a key member of the production team within a high-capacity commercial laundry plant.
- Perform tasks across various stages of the laundry process, including operating machines, sorting, folding, and packing.
- Support the company’s mission to provide quality, safety, and reliable service to clients in the healthcare and hospitality industries.
- Maintain continuous flow of linen into industrial machines such as tunnels, washers, and dryers.
- Pull linen bags and execute other laundry-related activities in specified order to maintain productivity.
- Load linens into machine pockets, ensuring pockets are correctly filled for optimal processing.
- Monitor and manage load sizes to prevent overloading and ensure proper machine function.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, following directions precisely for each task.
- Consistently meet or exceed established production standards for efficiency and quality.
- Promptly notify supervisors of any technical issues that impact production standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall plant operations.
