Production Operator - Summary- Integral member of the commercial laundry production team
- Responsible for operating and maintaining laundry processing equipment
- Performs a broad range of tasks including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and preparing products for distribution
- Ensures smooth workflow and high-quality standards are consistently met
- Maintain the continuous flow of linen and textiles into tunnel washers, dryers, and related equipment
- Pull bags and process laundry activities in the designated order as directed
- Load linens into empty pockets of tunnel washers, ensuring correct load sizes and preventing overloads
- Operate various laundry equipment including dryers, washers, and ironing machines
- Sort soiled linens and prepare them for processing
- Fold, iron, and pack finished products according to production guidelines
- Follow all safety precautions and company protocols
- Meet or exceed hourly production standards
- Notify supervisors about technical issues impacting production
- Perform additional duties as assigned
