Production Operators are responsible for monitoring the flow of linen and textiles into various machines such as tunnels, washers, and dryers. They ensure that each machine is loaded correctly, preventing overloading and maintaining optimal productivity. The role also involves pulling laundry bags and managing the order of laundry processing, contributing to the overall organization and workflow of the facility. Production Operator - Summary- Integral member of the front-line production team in a commercial laundry facility
- Responsible for operating washers, dryers, tunnels, and supporting production tasks
- Ensures quality, efficiency, and safety are maintained throughout the production process
- Maintain steady flow of linen and textiles into production machines including washers and dryers
- Load linens properly to prevent machine overload and ensure efficient processing
- Sort, fold, iron, and package processed laundry items
- Operate stain washers and perform mending or sewing tasks as needed
- Pull bags and process laundry in the designated order
- Follow safety protocols and supervisor instructions at all times
- Meet or exceed hourly production standards
- Report frequent technical issues to supervisors in a timely manner
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
