As part of a collaborative team, the Production Operator is responsible for executing a variety of tasks related to laundry processing, including soil sorting, dryer operations, wash operations, stain washing, folding, commercial ironing, packing, and distribution. - Performs various tasks including soil sorting, operating dryers and washers, folding, ironing, packing, and distributing laundry products.
- Ensures compliance with safety standards and production guidelines.
- Works collaboratively with supervisors and team members to achieve productivity goals.
- Sort soiled linen into appropriate buggies according to established procedures.
- Operate industrial washers and dryers to process laundry efficiently.
- Perform stain removal and specialty washing tasks as needed.
- Fold, iron, and pack laundry products to prepare for distribution.
- Pull laundry bags and process items in designated order to maintain workflow.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Maintain production standards as determined per hour, reporting frequent technical problems to supervisors.
- Assist with other duties as assigned in support of the plant’s overall productivity.
