The Production Operator plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of a high-capacity commercial laundry facility. As a key member of the production team, the Production Operator is responsible for carrying out a variety of essential tasks that contribute to the efficient processing of laundry and fulfillment of customer requirements. This hands-on position involves working in different areas of the plant, including soil sorting, operating industrial dryers and washers, performing stain treatment, folding, ironing, packing, and preparing linens for distribution. The Production Operator ensures that all activities are performed in line with company safety standards and production goals, maintaining an organized workflow and contributing to the overall success of the production team.
In this dynamic environment, the Production Operator will be cross-trained in several production floor roles, allowing for flexibility and a broad understanding of the plant's operations. These roles include soil sorting, where soiled linens are organized for processing; operating commercial dryers and washers to ensure optimal cleanliness and sanitation; stain treatment to address stubborn marks and maintain quality standards; and folding, ironing, and packing, which prepare linens for distribution to customers. Each responsibility is vital to the plant’s ability to meet daily output targets and uphold its reputation for service excellence.
Production Operators work collaboratively, following detailed instructions and adhering to established safety guidelines to minimize risk and ensure a productive work environment. Production Operator - Summary- Integral member of the commercial laundry production team
- Performs a variety of tasks including sorting, washing, drying, folding, ironing, packing, and distributing linens
- Ensures safety and production standards are consistently met

- Operate commercial washing and drying equipment
