The Production Operator plays a vital role in supporting daily operations within a high-capacity commercial laundry facility. As an integral member of the production team, the Production Operator contributes to achieving the highest standards of quality and efficiency in processing commercial laundry items. This full-time opportunity offers hands-on experience in several areas of plant production, including soil sorting, operating washers and dryers, stain treatment, folding, ironing, packing, and distributing finished products. Production Operator - Summary- Supports the core production workflow of a commercial laundry operation.
- Works collaboratively with team members on the plant floor to achieve daily targets.
- Handles various production roles, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and packing.
- Adheres to company safety standards and production protocols to ensure the highest quality output.
- Communicates effectively with supervisors and peers to maintain consistent workflow and resolve issues.
- Sort soiled linens and other textiles into designated categories for processing.
- Operate industrial washers, dryers, and ironing equipment in accordance with training and safety procedures.
- Perform stain washing and stain removal tasks to ensure product quality.
- Fold, pack, and distribute clean laundry items as required to meet production quotas.
- Monitor production standards, ensuring throughput is maintained per hour expectations.
- Report technical issues or workflow interruptions promptly to supervisors.
- Follow all safety guidelines and participate in ongoing safety training.
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support overall plant operations.
