Production Operator - Summary- Acts as an essential member of the commercial laundry production team
- Supports the processing, cleaning, finishing, and distribution of linens and textiles
- Ensures safe and efficient operation of industrial laundry equipment
- Maintains quality and productivity standards to meet customer requirements
- Maintain consistent flow of linens into tunnel washers, dryers, and other machinery
- Pull bags and process laundry activities in designated sequence
- Load linens into machine pockets accurately, monitoring load size to prevent overloading
- Operate equipment such as dryers, washers, ironers, and folders as needed
- Sort soiled linens and textiles for appropriate processing
- Perform sewing, mending, or stain removal tasks as assigned
- Prepare finished linens for packing and distribution
- Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Meet or exceed hourly and daily production standards
- Notify supervisor promptly of technical issues affecting production output
- Support continuous improvement and cross-training as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
