The Production Operator plays a key role in supporting the efficient operation of a high-capacity commercial laundry facility. As a valued member of the production team, the Production Operator is responsible for executing a variety of essential tasks that contribute to the overall workflow and help fulfill customer requirements. This position involves working on the front lines of the production process, ensuring that laundry items are sorted, processed, and prepared accurately and safely. The work encompasses several important functions, including soil sorting, operating dryers and washers, stain treatment, folding, commercial ironing, packing, and distribution. The Production Operator must uphold safety standards, maintain production benchmarks, and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any operational issues. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team environment while gaining hands-on experience in the commercial laundry industry.
Production Operator - Summary- Integral member of the production team within a commercial laundry facility
- Responsible for a range of tasks supporting the plant’s operations
- Ensures timely and accurate processing of laundry to meet customer expectations
- Contributes to a safe, efficient, and team-oriented work environment

- Sort soiled laundry items into designated buggies and categories according to established protocols
- Operate industrial laundry equipment, including washers and dryers, with strict adherence to safety guidelines
- Participate in stain treatment processes to ensure optimal cleaning of textiles
- Fold, iron, and prepare laundry items for distribution using commercial equipment
- Pack cleaned items in accordance with customer specifications and plant standards
- Distribute completed laundry products throughout the facility as required
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors and adhere to plant policies and procedures
- Maintain production standards by meeting or exceeding hourly output goals
- Monitor equipment and report technical or safety concerns promptly to supervisors
- Support overall plant operations by performing additional tasks as assigned
