The Production Associate position at Core Linen Services involves the hands-on handling of large volumes of linens, supporting the needs of major healthcare networks such as the Aurora Healthcare system. With the responsibility of processing over 40,000,000 pounds of laundry annually across 25 hospitals and more than 100 clinics, the role is essential to the seamless operation of healthcare services from Green Bay to Chicago. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, sorting, and processing laundry using commercial-grade washers and dryers. The position requires both hand folding and the use of folding machinery to ensure that all linens meet established cleanliness and presentation standards. You will also be tasked with organizing and loading clean linens into inventory carts for distribution, utilizing pick tickets to prepare outbound deliveries for healthcare facilities. Adherence to safety guidelines and production benchmarks is critical, as is the ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with your team and supervisors.

Production Associate - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive and sort inbound laundry from hospitals and clinics for commercial processing
- Operate industrial washers and dryers to clean linens and textiles
- Hand fold and machine fold clean laundry according to specified quality standards
- Accept folded linens and organize them into inventory carts for efficient storage and delivery
- Prepare outbound carts using pick tickets, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to healthcare locations
- Follow detailed instructions and observe all safety protocols and precautions
- Maintain hourly production standards and report technical issues promptly to supervisors
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall production goals
