The Production Associate plays a vital role within the commercial laundry plant, ensuring the seamless operation and efficiency of front-line production tasks. The plant features multiple key production positions, including Soil Sorting, Dryer Operator, Wash Operator, Stain Washer, Folding, Commercial Ironing, Packing, and Distributing. Working within these areas, the Production Associate will handle soiled and clean linen, operate industrial laundry equipment, and assist with the organization and distribution of laundered goods. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and a commitment to maintaining the pace and accuracy necessary in a high-capacity facility.
Production Associates are expected to follow all directions and safety precautions carefully, ensuring that every step of the laundry process meets established production standards. They will sort soiled linen into appropriate categories, manage laundry workflows, and operate equipment such as dryers and irons. Additionally, they will notify supervisors of any technical issues that could impede productivity, and perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and meet customer needs.

- Supports efficient and quality-focused laundry processing for a diverse customer base
- Handles a variety of operational tasks, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and packing linens

- Pull bags and conduct other laundry activities in designated order
- Operate laundry machinery such as washers, dryers, and commercial irons
- Fold, pack, and distribute laundered goods according to plant standards

- Maintain hourly production standards as set by supervisors
- Notify supervisors promptly of technical issues affecting workflow
- Perform additional related duties as assigned to support overall plant operations
