IDR is seeking a Product Warranty Specialist to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity in Lehi, UT. This role supports claims operations within the warranty industry, focusing on claim adjudication and coverage validation to ensure customer satisfaction and contractual compliance.
Position Overview for the Product Warranty Specialist:
- Respond to a high volume of claim authorization requests professionally and efficiently
- Analyze claims with regards to eligibility by evaluating diagnosis, product details, and tenure, then compare to terms and conditions to properly adjudicate the claim
- Interpret and evaluate contract language to determine if a claim qualifies for coverage
- Process cash-settlement offers, contractor dispatch requests, and enforce contractor pricing agreements
- Communicate claim outcomes and provide escalation support, guidance, and subject matter expertise to contact center teams
Requirements for the Product Warranty Specialist:
- 2+ years of claims authorization experience or experience in a contact center environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously under strict timeliness standards
- Ability to handle difficult conversations at multiple levels, both internal and external
- Strong negotiation, mediation, and conflict management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
