Procurement Specialist - Summary
- Support the Strategic Sourcing team by managing procurement and contracting activities.
- Facilitate vendor onboarding, purchase order processing, and contract tracking.
- Assist in the review and drafting of lower-risk agreements, escalating potential risks as necessary.
- Act as a primary contact for internal clients on procurement inquiries and processes.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide operational assistance to Strategic Sourcing and Procurement teams for day-to-day contracting activities.
- Collaborate with internal clients and external vendors to facilitate smooth onboarding and ensure proper documentation is in place.
- Process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company procedures and timeline requirements.
- Track contract statuses and manage contract documentation, ensuring records are up-to-date and accessible.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and drafting of standard, lower-risk agreements using established templates and guidance.
- Identify and escalate any potential risks or exceptions to senior team members as appropriate.
- Respond to internal client inquiries related to procurement processes and serve as a knowledgeable resource on company policies.
- Support process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and compliance within procurement functions.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, contract administration, finance, or similar roles involving purchase order and requisition processing.
- Experience in vendor onboarding, supplier setup, contract tracking, and documentation management is preferred.
- Proficiency with procurement systems such as Coupa, SAP, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to review and draft standard, lower-risk contractual agreements using company templates and guidance.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
