As a Process Improvement Lead – Finance Transformation, you'll play a central part in shaping and executing the finance transformation strategy for a major organization. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams in Finance, Digital, and Technology to streamline key financial value streams, such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report. Process Improvement Lead – Finance Transformation Summary- Lead and own the performance of end-to-end finance processes to support organizational efficiency and control.
- Partner across Finance, Digital, and Technology teams to identify and implement optimization and automation opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of operational excellence.
- Oversee and optimize core finance processes including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report.
- Establish and maintain process governance frameworks, including ownership models and escalation paths.
- Develop, update, and standardize process documentation, workflows, templates, and procedures.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), set performance targets, and ensure accountability structures are in place.
- Lead regular performance reviews, conduct root cause analyses, and implement continuous process improvement strategies.
- Drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, cost control, and compliance with internal controls.
- Collaborate with Digital and Technology teams to deploy automation tools and enhance system capabilities.
- Manage the intake, prioritization, and execution of process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead change management efforts, including training, stakeholder engagement, and fostering long-term adoption of new processes.
- Coach and mentor cross-functional teams on process excellence methodologies and best practices.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools for workflow analysis, documentation generation, process optimization, and automation support.
- Work with analytics teams to deliver actionable reporting and insights to inform performance and decision-making.

- Proven success leading process optimization projects with tangible business impact.
- Deep knowledge of finance operations, transactional workflows, and process governance.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining process documentation and standardized operating procedures.
- Strong analytical and root cause problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present ideas to executive leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, process mapping software (such as Lucid or similar), and digital collaboration platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working on large-scale finance transformation programs.
- Consulting experience in process excellence within public accounting or professional services is advantageous.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
- Experience with ERP-enabled finance processes and AI-enabled productivity tools is a plus.
- This is a remote position open to candidates located in the United States, requiring the ability to work Central Time business hours.
