Printer Operator - Summary
The Printer Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and ongoing monitoring of printing equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process. Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate printing equipment based on job specifications and production requirements.
- Load and prepare necessary materials, such as inks and printing plates, for each production run.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal print quality, color accuracy, and consistency.
- Monitor production runs, checking for issues like misprints, registration errors, or color inconsistencies, and correct them as needed.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to confirm that finished products meet all customer and company standards.
- Maintain comprehensive production records, including job numbers, machine settings, and quality check results.
- Keep accurate logs of production and quality metrics throughout each shift.
- Inspect printing equipment for signs of wear, defects, or operational concerns.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure smooth operation.

Qualifications & Requirements
