The Primary Care Physician (PCP) is a vital healthcare provider within a multidisciplinary medical team, committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families. Our clinic in Southeast Missouri is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Primary Care Physician for a full-time position. This opportunity provides a collaborative environment with experienced professionals, allowing you to positively impact community health while advancing your medical career. As a PCP, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, offering preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment within a well-supported, state-of-the-art clinical setting.
Our practice is equipped with an advanced electronic medical record (EMR) system, specifically Epic, to streamline patient documentation and care coordination. The clinical team includes four Primary Care Physicians, five Nurse Practitioners (NPs), and one Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Each physician is supported by a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) and a lead Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring efficient and effective patient care delivery. Physicians also collaborate closely with two Nurse Practitioners, fostering a team-based approach to medicine that enhances patient outcomes and professional satisfaction.
The work schedule is designed for optimal work-life balance, with regular hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and a phone-only call rotation of 1:3. Patient panels typically range from 17 to 21 patients per day, allowing for meaningful interactions and high-quality care. The clinic environment encourages collaboration, professional development, and a commitment to excellence in primary care practice.
