Primary Care Physician (PCP) Job OverviewWe are seeking a committed Primary Care Physician (PCP) to join a respected private practice. This is a 100% outpatient role where you will deliver comprehensive primary care services to patients, focusing on preventive medicine, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. As a PCP, you will play a key role in supporting the overall health and well-being of the local community, contributing to a longstanding practice with over 20 years of service. Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care to individuals of all ages in an outpatient environment.
- Conduct routine physical examinations, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and manage ongoing health concerns.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and screenings as clinically indicated.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for patients, emphasizing preventive care and wellness education.
- Coordinate care with specialists, ancillary providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical protocols and patient outcomes.
- Engage actively in practice meetings and contribute to the growth and reputation of the practice within the local community.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related primary care specialty.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a similar field.
- Current and unrestricted medical license to practice as a physician.
- Strong clinical skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Dedication to upholding the highest standards of medical ethics and professionalism.
This is a full-time position offering a 100% outpatient practice model. Physicians enjoy a 4.5 day work week, providing a positive work-life balance. There are no required on-call duties; optional call coverage is available for additional compensation.
