The Primary Care Physician (MD/DO, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, PCP) position in Houma, LA, is designed for clinicians who want to focus on quality – not quantity – with a manageable daily patient volume and longer appointment times to foster meaningful relationships and thorough care. The schedule offers a 4.5-day work week, no overnight call requirements, and early Friday departures to promote work-life balance.

Primary Care Physician (MD/DO, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, PCP) - Summary- Full-time position with a value-based care organization
- Physician-led, patient-centered team
- Focus on quality outcomes and coordinated care

- Provide comprehensive primary care to adults and families
- Conduct patient visits with manageable volume (10-16 patients/day)
- Utilize 30-60 minute appointment slots to ensure thorough care
- Collaborate with APRNs, RNs, and the Quality Improvement team
- Participate in transitional care and high-risk outreach initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow evidence-based guidelines
- Receive and act on regular feedback regarding quality metrics and outcomes
- Practice autonomously at the top of your license

- M.D. or D.O. degree required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license
- Valid DEA and CDS licenses (or ability to obtain)
- Preferred: 1+ year(s) clinical experience in adult, family, or geriatric care
- Preferred: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
