Primary Care Physician (MD/DO, FM/IM) – Full-time in Birmingham, AL
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO, FM/IM) to join our innovative healthcare team in Birmingham, AL. At our clinics, Primary Care Physicians (MD/DO, FM/IM) benefit from a collaborative team structure, working closely with medical assistants, schedulers, referral specialists, and supportive leadership. We emphasize continuity of care, patient satisfaction, and clinical excellence, allowing our physicians to build meaningful, long-term relationships with their patients. The patient population primarily consists of seniors managing 3-5 complex health conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension.
Our centers offer a unique and supportive environment, including transportation assistance for patients who do not drive and a variety of wellness activities such as exercise and art classes, all provided at no cost to patients. This holistic approach to care helps foster a vibrant and engaged patient community in Birmingham, AL.
Physicians practicing in our organization enjoy a manageable patient load, with an average of 10-12 patients per day and a maximum panel size of 650. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, offering an excellent work-life balance. Call responsibilities are shared equitably among providers, ensuring manageable coverage and support.
