New Primary Care Physician (MD/DO, FM/IM) – Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to a senior patient population with multiple chronic conditions, focusing on continuity and quality of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including medical assistants, schedulers, referral specialists, and leadership, to deliver patient-centered services.
- Manage a patient panel size of up to 650, with an average of 10-12 patient visits per day, ensuring each patient receives individualized attention.
- Participate in a value-based care delivery model, incorporating holistic and preventive health strategies tailored to seniors.
- Perform in-office procedures such as suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care as needed.
- Utilize and update electronic health records efficiently to ensure accurate documentation and continuity of care.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives, focusing on HEDIS compliance, reduction of hospitalizations, and patient satisfaction metrics.
- Participate in the clinic's call schedule as determined by the number of providers in the market (e.g., 1:32 weeks).
- Foster a welcoming, respectful clinic environment, contributing to a culture of wellness and accessibility for all patients.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive compensation structure with a base salary starting at $260,000 and first-year earning potential exceeding $310,000 through performance bonuses.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM).
- Current, unrestricted, and active medical license to practice medicine.
- Valid DEA registration.
- Experience in outpatient primary care settings preferred.
- Proficiency in common in-office procedures such as suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care.
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics is a plus but not mandatory.
