Primary Care Physician (MD/DO, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Med-Peds) - Summary
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, physical exams, and preventive screenings
- Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on current medical guidelines
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work, imaging, and EKGs
- Provide immunizations and educate patients and families on preventive health measures
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate comprehensive care plans
- Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Collaborate with nurses, advanced practice providers, behavioral health professionals, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in clinic quality improvement initiatives and meet organizational performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, coding, and billing standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Current, unrestricted medical license in Arkansas
- DEA license and prescriptive authority
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation
