Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Summary
As a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) in High Point, NC, you will play a pivotal role within a dynamic healthcare team, delivering value-based, patient-centered care to Medicare beneficiaries. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, including scribes, medical assistants, and social workers, to ensure optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and senior patient populations, focusing on quality outcomes and preventive health measures.
- Manage a daily patient volume of 13-16 individuals, ensuring thorough and attentive visits (20 minutes for routine visits, 40 minutes for new or complex cases).
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team, including scribes, medical assistants, and social workers, to optimize patient care delivery.
- Utilize advanced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as Canopy and Greenway to document, track, and manage patient care efficiently.
- Engage in value-based healthcare models and work towards quality metrics that reward improved patient outcomes and reduced hospital admissions.
- Participate in community activities and patient engagement programs, including wellness classes, exercise sessions, and health events hosted in the clinic’s community room.
- Coordinate care with on-site lab services, including phlebotomy, and access to specialist consultations via RubiconMD.
- Support transportation initiatives for patients within a five-mile radius, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and other Primary Care Physicians as part of a multidisciplinary provider team (typically 3-5 providers per clinic).

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted state medical license in good standing.
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics is preferred but not required.
- Not accepting current residents for this role; applicants must have completed residency training.
