Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - Summary
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
- Collaborate with on-site behavioral health providers, social workers, and care managers
- Participate in preventive care and chronic disease management programs
- Engage in a patient-centered environment that emphasizes quality and continuity of care
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and preventive patient examinations, diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize electronic health records for documentation and care coordination
- Maintain strong communication with patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community health programs
- Provide mentorship and guidance to residents and staff as appropriate
- Manage patient panel efficiently, averaging 16-22 patients per day
- Fulfill call duties approximately 2-3 weeks per year
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements

- Competitive base salary with RVU-based incentive compensation
- Potential to earn up to $400,000 annually

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Valid and unrestricted Vermont medical license (or eligibility to obtain)

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to participate in call rotation and team-based care
- Open to considering 2025 residents
