Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Jackson, MS – Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our innovative network of neighborhood primary care centers in Jackson, MS. As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering equitable, value-based healthcare services to the local Medicare patient population. Supported by a comprehensive care team—including scribes, medical assistants, and social workers—you will have the resources needed to prioritize patient wellness and deliver an unmatched patient experience. Our clinics are equipped with on-site labs, access to specialist consultations through RubiconMD, and advanced EMR systems (Canopy and Greenway) for seamless patient management.
In this full-time role, you will provide direct patient care, manage chronic and acute conditions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment plans. The average patient panel consists of 13-16 patients per day, allowing ample time for thorough consultations and personalized care. Regular visits are scheduled for 20 minutes, with extended 40-minute slots for full diagnostic workups and new patient evaluations. You will also have the opportunity to engage patients in wellness activities through our community room, which hosts exercise classes, events, and wellness days.

Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Summary- Full-time role providing value-based primary care for Medicare populations
- Collaborative, supportive environment with large care teams
- Focus on preventive medicine and positive patient outcomes
- Located in Jackson, MS
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to adult and geriatric patients
- Manage chronic conditions and acute illnesses
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team: scribe, medical assistant, social worker
- Utilize on-site laboratory and specialist consultation tools (RubiconMD)
- Document care in EMR systems (Canopy, Greenway)
- Engage patients in wellness activities and preventive health initiatives
- Participate in quality improvement efforts and value-based care initiatives
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies and clinical best practices
- Competitive base salary (range $220,000 - $250,000 based on experience)

- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board Certification (or board eligibility) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted state medical license (non-probationary status)
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics preferred but not required
- No current residents, experienced physicians only
- Committed to delivering high-quality, value-based patient care
- Skilled in managing both chronic and acute health conditions
- Enjoys working with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Comfortable using EMR systems and telehealth resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Values ongoing professional development and collaborative practice
- Patient transportation services are available within a five-mile radius of the clinic
- Community room hosts patient wellness activities, including exercise, yoga, and health events
- Average of 3-5 providers per clinic, with a mix of Primary Care Physicians and Nurse Practitioners
