Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric patients
- Conduct regular and diagnostic patient visits (20–40 minutes per appointment)
- Collaborate with scribes, medical assistants, and social workers for coordinated care
- Use EMR systems (Canopy and Greenway) to document and track patient care
- Participate in team-based case reviews and quality initiatives
- Lead and participate in preventive health programs and community activities
- Consult with specialists via digital platforms for complex patient needs
- Ensure compliance with quality metrics and value-based care models

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification (or board eligibility) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted state medical license (non-probationary)
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics preferred, but not required
- Strong commitment to value-based care and patient outcomes
- No current residents; experienced physicians preferred
