Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Columbus, OH – Full-time
Join a physician-led, mission-driven organization at the forefront of value-based healthcare delivery for seniors. As a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) in Columbus, OH, you will be part of a team dedicated to transforming the health and well-being of older adults through personalized, accessible, and high-quality care. This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes and to contribute to a model designed to provide an exceptional patient experience.
Our client organization is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where physicians are empowered to focus on patient care rather than administrative burdens. The care model emphasizes smaller patient panels, allowing you to build lasting relationships with your patients, many of whom are seniors living with multiple chronic diseases. This approach enables comprehensive care and supports the overall mission to improve health outcomes for the senior community.
In this Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) role, you will manage a maximum patient panel of 450 individuals, averaging 18 patients per day. This manageable workload ensures that you have ample time for each patient, supporting both high-quality care and a healthy work/life balance. The structure of clinic hours, with no nights or weekends required, reinforces this philosophy and provides flexibility for physicians. Dedicated administrative time is built into your schedule, streamlining both your workflow and your ability to focus on patient needs.
This supportive clinical environment includes a robust care team, including your own medical assistant, scheduler, and referral specialist. You will also benefit from in-house consulting specialists in areas such as cardiology and podiatry, as well as access to holistic health services like acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling. Additionally, door-to-door transportation services are provided for patients, ensuring ease of access to care.
Physicians with board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine are encouraged to apply. Those who are highly motivated by purpose, professional growth, and the desire to make a difference in their community will thrive in this value-based, patient-centered setting. The career pathway includes opportunities for partnership, typically within 12-18 months, with the majority of physicians achieving partner status after just one year—without the need for a buy-in.
Competitive compensation is provided, including a base salary, performance incentives, and signing bonuses. The benefits package is comprehensive, offering generous paid time off, health, dental, and vision plans for you and your family, a 401(k) with company match, and additional personal and professional development allowances.
Columbus, OH is recognized for its vibrant community, affordable living, and diverse cultural amenities, making it an excellent location for professionals looking to advance their careers while enjoying a high quality of life.
